| PROJECKT DESIRE appeared in a duet version as a work-in-process at the Glue Series Kumquat Studios on Feb. 7 & 8 with additional performances with new sections at The Philadelphia Museum of Art May 13, 1998 and The Philadelphia Fringe Festival Sept. 9-11. This evolving work is based on the theme -- desire and is inspired by the majestic beauty of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the goddess Diana, free-ranging thoughts, dancer dilemmas, personal potholes and the human urge to play. These eight dancers are meant to be viewed independently, are portable and are 3-8 minutes long. Jen & Joe's duet are part of an experimental video with videographer, Carmella Vassor of Wild Child Productions. Ms. Mulgrew intends to continue this investigation. |
